Jim Kelly
Co-Owner
With more than 25 years of experience in residential construction, Jim Kelly has built a reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and some of the finest custom homes in Massachusetts. As a second-generation contractor, construction has been a lifelong passion rooted in family tradition and a commitment to quality.
After graduating from Norwell High School in 1980, Jim attended Norwich University, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science in 1984. His engineering background provides a unique technical perspective that complements decades of hands-on building experience and problem-solving in the field.
Throughout his career, Jim has specialized in the construction of high-end custom homes, primarily serving clients in Concord and Carlisle, Massachusetts. His projects are known for their superior craftsmanship, timeless design, and meticulous execution. Today, he is bringing that same level of expertise to the South Shore, where Kellco Development is building custom homes and residential projects that reflect the same uncompromising standards.
As co-founder of Kellco Development, Jim combines engineering knowledge, extensive field experience, and a dedication to excellence to ensure every project is built to the highest standards. Working alongside his son, he proudly represents the second and third generations of a family dedicated to the building industry. Together, they continue a legacy of quality craftsmanship, integrity, and personalized service while creating homes that families will enjoy for generations.
In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and his three kids. Many weekends you will find him in Vermont enjoying the great outdoors!
JT Kelly
Co-Owner
JT is a Co-owner at Kellco Development LLC. JT’s previous experience before starting Kellco Development included a Systems Engineering & Sales background specializing in process utility systems, HVAC, and controls as well as a commercial construction background serving several roles.
JT’s problem-solving mindset, forward thinking, and customer and sub-contractor relationships make him a unique fit to the residential construction world. As a Systems Engineer and Account Manager for Ingersoll Rand and Trane, JT was always on the forefront for his customers as a solution-based engineering consultant. He has provided hundreds of turnkey equipment installs for customers across New England. JT’s leadership strengths and curiosity have led to an establishment of all phases of Kellco's construction process. He supports all phases and operations of running a business.
JT received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Minor in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He happened to serve as a captain for the RPI lacrosse team as well. As a two-sport athlete in college for the men’s lacrosse and football teams at RPI , JT brings strong time-management and commitment to the Kellco team and his projects. JT’s skills and hard-work ethic to balance two college varsity sports with a rigorous engineering program continue to translate to the field and Kellco Team.
JT enjoys all things with motors – boats, ATV’s, snowmobiles, etc. His favorite moments and memories are spending weekends with friends and family at camps and lodges across gorgeous New England.
